  • "Imagining Otherwise" Exhibition Reception

    Friday, September 18th from 6-8pm

    Celebrate our next art exhibition, curated by Kaelyn Andrade and Reevah Agarwaal. Imagining Otherwise invites viewers to consider what a world built for those historically excluded from power might look and feel like, not as a distant utopia, but as a lived, felt, and continually negotiated reality.

  • Buddhism Service

    Sunday, September 20th from 10:45am-1pm

    Join Nichiren Shu Sangha of Chicago on the third Sunday of each month for a Buddhism Service with Reverend Igarashi.

  • Raíces y Poder: Honoring the Hands that Build Chicago

    Thursday, September 24th from 6-9pm

    Join Latino Union of Chicago in celebrating their 26th Anniversary! It will be a special evening to honor the organization’s history, the workers and leaders who have shaped this organization, and the community that will carry this work forward.

  • Balanced for Good

    Join Balanced for Good for their Monthly Donation-Based Yoga Class where your contributions support local community organizations. This month’s class will support Block Club Chicago.

    Join Nichiren Shu Sangha of Chicago on the last Tuesday of every month for community meditation.

    Fresa Fests is hosting their next market with us! Shop indoor and outdoor with 35 local vendors, featuring clothing, blind boxes, trinkets, jewelry, and other Y2K goodies.

  • State of the North River Commission

    Tuesday, October 20th from 9-11am

    Join the North River Commission for their annual community address. Reflect on the NRC’s work over the past year, current initiatives, and the vision for the future. Coffee and breakfast pastries provided.

  • An Impromptu Glorious Chorus

    Saturday, October 24th from 6:15-8:15pm

    A community singing event for the body and soul. Musician Elise Witt will lead participants of any skill level joyful song.

    Prices are on a sliding scale from $15-$85

    Join Megan Eberhardt for 8 weeks to learn and sing songs from the contemporary community singing movement. You'll probably meet a few new cool people and talk with them. You'll probably feel some pleasure, joy, grief, or release.
