Born and raised in Chicago, Anabel feels a deep connection to the city and its people. She has spent a lot of time removing invasive species and supporting native plants through her volunteer work with the Forest Preserves of Cook County. She is currently pursuing a degree in STEM which she plans to use in an environmental capacity. She spends her free time knitting and crocheting and can often be found perusing the shelves at Chicago’s public libraries.
