Vic Barquin (she/her)
FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Vic Barquin joined The Reva and David Logan Foundation in August 2024 as the Facilities Coordinator for Movement on Montrose.
Throughout her career, Vic has developed a wide range of technical, administrative, and interpersonal skills. In 2021, she moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas to pursue her MFA in Studio Art at the University of Arkansas. During this time, she worked remotely for Chicago Printmakers Collaborative as their Education Coordinator where she was previously the Assistant Director—a dynamic position that required her to balance structure with spontaneity depending on the given needs of the studio.
From 2019-2021, Vic ran a collaborative publishing program out of her second bedroom turned screenprinting studio in the Logan Square neighborhood. Through Halftone Projects, she worked intimately with artists to translate their vision into an edition of handmade screenprints.
Her own work has been exhibited at ARC Gallery (Chicago), Blah Blah Gallery (Philadelphia), the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (Little Rock), and Indiana University Northwest (Gary) among others. Her studio practice is based in reimagining what already exists, using textiles, everyday objects, and her own studio archive as source material.
